Overview of Position
As an Academic Research and Development Associate within the Research Development and Training team, you will support the team's critical functions. This includes assisting the Research and Development Manager with managing the completion and upload of curriculum across all academic products (Academy, Debate, Test Prep, Day and Leaders' Camp, and Admission Consulting), supporting center academic operations and policies, developing and maintaining products, and performing administrative functions. Responsibilities and Duties
Strategic planning for programs, courses, and operations
Work with the Research and Development Manager to develop and improve the Point Avenue product roadmap.
Support the implementation of measurement tools to evaluate student learning outcomes, teacher effectiveness, and curriculum appropriateness. Develop tools as necessary.
Formulate R&D initiatives under the direction of the Research and Development Manager, which are aligned with the organization's vision, mission, and values.
As necessary or requested, prepare periodic reports for the Research and Development Manager to track strategic goal accomplishment.
Conduct market research and evaluate similar products at other companies, schools, and businesses.
Support the company's operations by ensuring that all teams work together to meet the company's targets, individually and collectively.
Other related tasks/ special projects (if needed).
Curriculum Development
As directed by the Research and Development Manager, develop specific products that meet the company's needs.
Design and redesign curriculum and complete the necessary internal documents, including assessments, training slide decks, trackers, etc.
Support the development of a finite curriculum framework and a clear roadmap that parents can visualize.
Through the direction of the Research and Development Manager, create, revise, and improve lesson plans and relevant documents.
Support the building of a resource bank of materials to support teachers.
Help create or update marketing materials to highlight our curricula.
Curriculum Training & Quality Control
Collaborate with Product Leads and the Academic Director to provide training and development materials to improve mentor performance and curriculum efficiency.
Conduct observations, results, and consistent delivery of curriculums, and identify curriculum strengths and areas of opportunity..
Set the tone for professionalism; ensure regular feedback to mentors to address deficiencies and recognize excellence.
Coordinate the supervision of classroom activities and the completion of reports to share with school administrators and relevant stakeholders.
Admin and Other Duties
Support marketing efforts to promote new products and educate our market.
The daily, weekly, and monthly administrative processes necessary to fulfill the position's requirements include meetings, reports, and responding to emails.
Advise and assist with content marketing strategies and produce high-quality content.
Support marketing and branding activities to further business goals and provides sales support by meeting with and helping close customer leads.
Support ad-hoc program projects as delegated by the Research and Development Manager.

Communication with local publishers and vendors, translating documents as needed
Drafting policy and procedural documents as required
Other administrative tasks include managing supplies, book inventories, and keeping trackers current.
