A. Formulation Development & Innovation
Lead hands-on formulation development based on product concepts, target performance and consumer needs.
Research, develop and optimize formulations for new products and existing product improvements.
Explore new ingredients, raw materials and formulation technologies to enhance product efficacy, quality and competitiveness.
Analyze competitor products, market trends, scientific literature and patents to identify new product development opportunities.
Conduct formulation trials, prepare laboratory samples and evaluate product performance in collaboration with Marketing.
Work with Marketing and Regulatory Affairs to ensure formulation feasibility and alignment with product claims and regulatory requirements.
B. Product Testing & Technical Validation
Plan and conduct formulation-related tests, including stability, compatibility, preservative efficacy and safety assessments.
Generate and analyze technical data to demonstrate product efficacy, quality and stability.
Define and optimize product specifications in collaboration with QA and QC.
Identify formulation issues and provide technical solutions during product development and manufacturing.
C. Scale-up & Production Transfer
Lead formulation scale-up trials and support technology transfer from laboratory to mass production.
Collaborate with QA and Production to ensure successful product validation and manufacturing readiness.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for formulation-related issues during production.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth product handover and launch.
D. Technical Documentation & Collaboration
Prepare and maintain formulation-related technical documents, including Product Information Files (PIF).
Provide technical information and supporting data for product claims, packaging, product notification and registration.
Coordinate with relevant departments on formulation specifications, raw material information, project timelines and development progress.
Share technical knowledge and new formulation technologies with the R&D team.
Yêu cầu
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or other related Science disciplines.
Professional Experience
At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in formulation development within Cosmetics, Cosmeceuticals, Dermatological Products, Pharmaceuticals or Eye Care products.
Proven experience in independently conducting formulation trials, developing and optimizing product formulas, from laboratory samples to product validation.
Practical knowledge of raw materials, ingredient functionality, formulation principles and product stability.
Experience in scale-up, technology transfer and troubleshooting formulation-related issues is highly preferred
