Objectives of the position
Drive the most cost effective, quality controlled on time product and production through key building blocks like capability and capacity plans, top defect analysis and training and factory improvement plans
Main Responsibilities
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his/her superior:
• Ensure all production occurs in line with Lidl's strict Ethical Sourcing Policies
• Ensure programs & policies are in place to provide the safest working environment attainable
• Use continuous improvement methods to identify and implement product and process improvement projects in strategic factories; while achieving KPI's in quality, cost, service, and safety
• Support the continuous build of capability and capacity plans across active factories to support right product right factory placements each Selection
• Develop local technical guidelines for suppliers to ensure they understand and can meet Lidl requirements. Conduct focussed assessments to monitor levels of compliance.
• Maintain oversight of changes to the production site critical controls - including chain of custody, food safety and quality management.
• Fostering Lean culture and application to improve quality, reduce cost, increase productivity, and reduce wastes.
• Working closely with the factories to create awareness where quality is poor and not meeting expectations, identify it's root cause with a corrective & preventive action plan for quality improvement.
• Conduct quality assessments of product and ensure sites implement the necessary product quality governance.
• Work with the commercial and local teams to identify sites which have the potential to produce product for Lidl Asia Pte, and assess the level of technical compliance and support required to achieve the desired expectations.
• Support the local teams in the advancement of food technical knowledge to ensure that they can effectively support active projects.
• Provide the required information, data and documentation to ensure that the governance process is effective.
• Travel to sites where required to provide support as needed by the business

In addition to the listed tasks, the holder of the position is obliged to implement seperate projects upon request by the superior which result from operational requirements.

Yêu cầu
Main Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science or solid technical or quality control experience in food manufacturing
• Qualification in Food Safety, HACCP and TACCP/VACCP
• As an innovative leader, have initiative and excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects of varying complexity
• Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team
• Demonstrated ability to effectively assist production floor personnel in resolving technical issues
• Possess good judgment as it relates to creative ideas with the ability to manage the creative process with others
• Practical, strong communication skills both written and verbal, passionate and focussed
• Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science or solid technical or quality control experience in food manufacturing
