- Lead the interpretation and implementation of cosmetics laws, regulations, national standards, industry standards, testing requirements, and other regulatory requirements applicable to the Vietnam market.
- Oversee the end-to-end product notification, registration, and import filing processes, ensuring timely approvals to support business launch plans.
- Review and approve product labels, packaging artwork, marketing claims, promotional materials, and digital content to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Provide regulatory guidance to cross-functional teams, including R&D, Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial, throughout the product development and commercialization process.
- Act as the primary contact with regulatory authorities, testing laboratories, and external consultants on regulatory matters.
- Monitor and assess changes in cosmetic regulations and proactively communicate regulatory impacts and compliance strategies to internal stakeholders.
- Develop and optimize regulatory processes, documentation, and SOPs to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
- Supervise and coach junior Regulatory Affairs team members, providing technical guidance and supporting capability development.
- Identify regulatory risks and recommend practical solutions to minimize business impact while ensuring compliance.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in cosmetics regulatory affairs, with experience managing complex product registration projects.
- Previous experience supervising a team or leading cross-functional regulatory projects is preferred.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- In-depth knowledge of Vietnam cosmetic regulations and regulatory requirements.
- Strong experience with Vietnam cosmetic product notification, import registration, and post-market compliance.
- Solid understanding of cosmetic labeling, advertising claims, and
digital marketing compliance.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment capabilities.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Experience in team coaching, mentoring, and performance management is an advantage.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
