Job Purpose
Working closely with FIG Head to develop appropriate business strategies that meet the needs of NBFI clients.
Building strong relationships and enhancing CIMBVN's position with Financial Institution clients (both Banks and Non-Banks) by providing tailored and effective financial solutions.
Collaborating with business units to design and improve internal processes, as well as develop new product structures.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management &
Business DevelopmentDevelop NBFI customer network according to the bank's overall strategy, focusing on Insurance, Fund Managers and Securities sectors.
Implement financial solutions to ensure portfolio growth, including risk management, to achieve optimal business efficiency.
Point of contact for customer transactions regarding financial products and solutions.
Develop and execute short-term and long-term business plans for assigned customer segments, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategic objectives and driving sustainable growth.
Being responsible for, and co-ordinate with product partners to maximise, total client income
Lead client acquisition, including marketing, on-boarding, and account maintenance, for the targeted clients as defined under T&M strategy
Credit Planning & Risk Management
Lead credit process from origination and preparation of Credit Memo, getting approval, co-ordinating the loan documentation process, limit loading, perfecting securities, following up to fulfil conditions precedent and conditions subsequent
Collaborate with internal functions to identify and assess customer risk.Being responsible for on-going continuous credit monitoring of clients, early identifying credit problems (if any), and working closely with Credit team to recommend and take actions as appropriate
Monitor clients operational and financial conditions to ensure sound post-lending management and prevent potential credit issues. Adjust credit strategies when necessary based on client performance.
Ensure effective monitoring and control of debt quality across the entire assigned customer portfolio.
Update VALCO in cases where customers have changes in business plans that may impact annual exploitation plans.
Reports & Market Analysis
Make periodically regulatory / internal report on NBFI/Corp activity
Follow Competitor product analysis and intelligence.
Follow and provide regulatory and market update to FIG/ Regional Corporate
Participate in business planning for CIMB VN Treasury
Regulatory Compliance
Ensures compliance with local regulatory requirements and external auditors.
Conduct all activities ethically in accordance with Policies and Procedures approved by the Management and the State Bank of Vietnam regulations
Ad-hoc task:
Any other responsibilities / task as assigned by Head of Treasury or managements from time to time.
Job Specification
University degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or relevant fields
At least 5 years experience in Banking & Finance industry
