[Remote] - Regional Systems Accountant

The role involves managing the implementation and support of the core financial system, ensuring integration with regional finance teams, and compliance with tax and reporting requirements. This includes facilitating timely system rollouts to newly acquired schools. Reporting to the group head of financial systems, the position requires collaboration across the organization and close coordination with regional finance teams.
Description
Implementation and Development:
* Lead and execute all implementation and development tasks hands-on.
* Validate configuration, processes, and customizations from third-party applications.
* Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide end-user training for new school onboarding.
Compliance and Reporting:
* Act as a subject matter expert on local compliance processes, legal reporting within the system, and third-party tax compliance applications.
* Collect business case requirements, compliance data flow, statutory reporting needs, and data migration requirements. Conduct gap analysis and document specifications.
* Anticipate statutory changes and evolving tax regimes.
* Perform data reconciliation and offer ongoing support.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Support:
* Monitor issues and resolutions with third-party applications, ensuring consistent implementation across all schools in the region.
* Facilitate walkthroughs and end-user training for system enhancements.
* Assist regional finance teams and local users with processes, reporting needs, and recommend optimal system utilization aligned with group processes.
* Collaborate with regional finance stakeholders to devise a regional system roadmap that aligns with the group roadmap.
Profile
* Proficient in Oracle NetSuite, specializing in multi-book reporting, data analytics, SuiteFlow, role and permission management, custom form creation, saved search configuration, reporting optimization, and transactional tax calculation.
* Skilled in implementing and supporting EPM solutions, including financial planning, CAPEX, account reconciliation, and cash flow forecasting.
* In-depth understanding of SaaS VAT reporting, electronic documents, and digital financial reporting.
* Capable of effectively collaborating and serving as a trusted advisor to local finance and Management Information Systems (MIS) teams across diverse regions.
* Familiarity with Suite Cloud Platform, SuiteScripts, Web Services, and REST APIs is a plus.
* Proficient in both written and spoken English.
