* Job Description
The Resource Development and Communication Manager will oversee implementation of the Resource Development (RD) and Communication strategies for the Habitat for Humanity Vietnam (HFHV), and will be responsible for country oversight of a donor portfolio that generates a sizable funds, driving revenue growth, managing priority donor account relationships, developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies, and executing (global/regional) initiatives as part of the strategy for Asia and the Pacific region. This role involves collaborating closely with the Habitat for Humanity International's (HFHI) global and area offices, RD team, Communication team, federated Global Funding Network (GFN), and other branch departments.
* Key Responsibilities
• Leadership - As a member of the HFHV Senior Leadership Team, provide input and support to the development and execution of the overall strategy for the branch, in alignment with the operational planning of the branch and the Asia Pacific; Support and participate in meetings.
• Fundraising Strategy - Develop and implement the FHFV RD strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders, focusing on business (corporate) and philanthropic resources to support the country programs; Propose and implement fundraising innovations that deliver a strong return on investment (ROI); Strengthen systems and fundraising capacity.
• Strategic Communications - Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy and roadmap that aligns with the HFHV's mission and goals to increase the organization's visibility and impact. Areas of focus are brand building, media relations, digital/social media, special events, fundraising, appropriate technology, volunteer engagement, advocacy, and issues and crisis communications.
• Team Leadership - Lead and manage the HFHV RD and Communication team/s, providing strategic and tactical leadership; drive key fundraising channels, including corporate partnerships and major gifts fundraising (high net worth); Give guidance and oversight to events and initiatives led by the RD and Communication or other departments.
• Collaboration with Global Teams - Collaborate with the global foundation, organization, and institutional fundraising (GFOI) team to identify and leverage match funding opportunities within the country and the region; Coordinate and collaborate with the global RD teams, Communication teams, and other GFN Country Offices.
• Building Capacity - Oversee the strengthening of systems, processes, procedures, and fundraising capacity in HFHV, with a view of diversifying and growing revenues from both international and local (in-country) donors. Lead the planning and execution of country RD or fundraising strategies with a view to driving growth across the network.
• Relationship Management - Cultivate and manage relationships with key (priority) donors and supporters. This includes engaging with leading Multinational Corporations and the Asia-Pacific Development Council of
business leaders, identifying potential donors to expand the donor base.
• Resource Management - Cultivate and nurture talent within the RD team; Offer practical coaching in areas such as strategic and operational planning, RD budgeting, and reporting systems; Take responsibility for financial planning and budget oversights for the RD department.
• Others - Maintains a working knowledge of local and national trends, demographics, and issues related to nonprofits, fundraising and mission-critical issues; Demonstrates sensitivity to the cultural and situational diversity of the donors and organization; Other duties as assigned.

2. Technical Competencies
• Technology Utilization: Skilled at using technology, specifically Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, and measure fundraiser performance and effectiveness using metrics. Working knowledge of content management systems, HTML coding, and digital graphics production.
• Proposal Design - Writing and developing proposals/concept documents that are coherent, organized, compelling, and in line with donor priorities and preferences.
• Presentation & Facilitation Skills - Effectively delivering information or ideas to an audience in a clear, engaging, and impactful manner.
The Resource Development and Communication Manager must have a Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Communication, Business Administration, International Development, or related course, a minimum of 10+ years of experience, including demonstrated professional fundraising experience, having asked for and secured a gift of at least USD 1 million, communications and media management, brand building for RD, a minimum of 5 years' experience directly leading a team of fundraising professionals, and with a minimum of 5 years' fundraising experience preferably within the NGO or non-profit sector.
