Scope / Purpose
• To ensure that a professional standard of customer care is maintained in order to promote company products so that sales targets are achieved
Key Result Areas
• To provide professional service to customers
• To achieve budgeted sales
• To maintain in-store merchandising and window display designs to promote company image and selling
• To maintain a high level of motivation and team spirit
• To adhere to administrative procedures and methods that are prescribed by the company
• To identify and develop personal potential through training
• To undertake other tasks as required by superiors
• To maintain communication links with staff in the assigned shop
Task Lists
A. Sales & Inventory Management
• Recognize ways on how to improve selling techniques
• Feedback to Store Manager of effectiveness of current promotional ideas in improving sales figures
• Check that stock levels of his/she responsible counters are kept to optimum level at all times
• Report discrepancies and damages (in any) to Store Manager immediately
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper arrangement of stock in the storeroom
B. Customer Service& Professionalism
• Maintain a high standard of personal grooming and hygiene
• Develop friendly relations with customers
• Promote company philosophy, standard of practices and objectives at all times
• Treat customers with care and respect
• Recommend products according to customer's identified needs and wants
• Suggest ideas on how to solve common customer complaints
C. Training & Development
• Demonstrate willingness to learn new things and from mistakes
• Participate actively in training sessions in classroom and/or at the shop floor
• Plan work to allow time for improving one's knowledge and skills
D. Administrative Procedures & Methods
• Maintain alertness to all possible security risks
• Ensure safekeeping of all records
E. Communication Links
• Ensure that important information is accurately documented and passed on to appropriate members of staff
• Establish and maintain an open communication channel with subordinates, among colleagues and with superiors, in Retail Operations and other departments
F. Merchandise Display
• Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained
• Maintain attractive in-store merchandise display regularly
• Maintain an optimum stock level of merchandise on display through regular replenishment
• Ensure that the right price is tagged onto merchandise for sale
G. Motivation and Team Spirit
• Cooperate with Management and colleagues in the daily running of the business
• Maintain a positive attitude towards work-related activities
• Set work goals and plan activities to accomplish them
• Develop a sense of team spirit and a problem solving attitude towards achievement of personal and group goals
H. General
• Ensure that damages to fixtures, fittings etc. are reported immediately to Store Manager
• Ensure that wastage is minimized
• Ensure that company properties are in good condition
Yêu cầu
• College or University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or other related fields.
• 3 years of experience, with at least 1 years of experience in the same position.
• Good English communication (compulsory)
• Preferably experienced in mother & baby products, fashion, cosmetics, or FMCG sectors.
• Strong sales management, merchandising, and inventory control skills.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate store staff to achieve sales and service goals.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills, with the ability to resolve issues effectively and professionally.
• High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills across all levels of staff.
