Risk Analyst/ Data Analyst -Underwriting

We are currently searching for a Risk Analyst - Underwriting to help support the establishment of our fintech product and its operations in Vietnam. This opportunity will ensure a fast paced, highly rewarding and challenging career. The successful candidate will require a detailed mindset, big picture thinking, relationship building and excellent communication skills.

Job description

1. The Risk Analyst leverages data to identify key risk indicators and potential risk factor within the underwriting process and provide actionable insight to mitigate the potential risk that may arise.
2. The day-to-day task of Risk analyst can include the following (but not limited to):
   1. Creating ad-hoc report, monitoring and analysis to aid management on risk decisions
   2. Daily review on key risk indicators and identified potential risk factor if any
   3. Identifying fraudulent activities and provide necessary solutions to stop the gap
   4. Participate on new product launch, policy change implementations and process changes

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as Risk Analyst, MIS analyst or data analyst in a financial sector
• Working knowledge of SQL and proficiency in Excel are required. In addition, mastery in other database management software will be highly appreciated.
• Strong analytical skills as proven from previous projects.
• Comfortable working independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Conversational ability in English would be an advantage
