Merchandiser - 04
Handle all pre-production tasks (material/artwork sourcing with related teams, sewing instruction, sampling request, QA details file, etc.)
Arrange and submit fabric shade band to control SB approval.
Support the team in tracking sample packages sent to or received from other related teams.
Assist with fabric cutting, spreading and support sample preparation and organization.
Help with packing, labeling, and shipping samples. Perform assigned tasks as required and provide general support as needed.
Fabric Sourcing - 02
Develop Fabrics as per buyer's need.
Negotiate price & TNA, Checking up Quality of the fabric.
Manage shipment of fabric and proceed payment.
Technical
designer (Fashion) - 02
Creating the Extended Size (Petite/Tall/Husky) Measurement Chart (MC) based on the final Regular MCs and the given conversion rules in Centric PLM for Gap/ON.
Completing Spark evaluation and routing the production packets for Target.
Checking the sample measurements based on How to Measure manual and the given MC for Gap/BRFS.
Checking the pattern measurements using Style CAD (only if the intern is willing to learn about the patterns).
Virtual Technical designer - 02
A vendor virtual technical designer is responsible for creating virtual garment samples on a 3D avatar using 3D software to save time, reduce costs, and minimize waste that could have been caused by producing the physical garments for decision making.
Collaborate mutually with TD team, sales team, and other relevant departments to create true-to-life virtual samples and make sure to meet the deadlines.
CAD - 01
Pattern & Grading: Assist in checking patterns and performing size grading based on tech pack.
Marker Making: Learn to create markers to optimize fabric consumption and reduce waste.
Production Support: Generate PDF files for artworks and mini markers for the sampling and production teams.
Collaboration: Work closely with Design, Sample team, and Merchandising teams to ensure accuracy and deadlines.
