* About us
Damen Song Cam Shipyard Co., Ltd (DSCS) is a joint venture between Damen Workboats in the Netherlands (70%) and Song Cam Shipyard (30%), member of SBIC and based in Haiphong, Vietnam. At a 43 hectares site, Damen Song Cam is a strategic and preferred production location within the Damen Workboats to produce tug- and workboats up to 60 meters. At the moment the shipyard is a dedicated outfitting shipyard: up to 40 hulls are procured from our partner shipyards. DSCS is performing outfitting, commissioning and delivery to clients worldwide. The strategy to grow is successful. Growth in volume, expanding the product portfolio, expanding other maritime activities (services, supervision) within the group.
* The role
Ensure the effective implementation of HSE processes. Coordinating and implementing improvement projects.
**** Key accountabilities:
* Policy implementation:
- ­Supervising the implementation and transferring of quality, environment and health & safety management procedures within the organization by advising and informing foreman, team leader and worker.
* Realised HSE inspection:
­+ Support setting up and conduct HSE inspection - and guiding external audits, if applicable.
­+ Collecting and analyzing results, reporting findings and researching causes of deviations in regards to norms and finding possible solutions
­+ Advising and supporting involved departments, making environment & safety improving proposals to meet quality.
* Coordinated department:
+ Together with Production Department in managing and correcting behaviour in regards to legal- and company safety and environmental obligations and procedures.
­+ Maintaining contact with sister companies and related suppliers
