Safety, Security and Access Intern

The Safety & security intern will support the Regional Security Team in improving safety and security procedures and compliance with Save the Children standards. He/she will support on a daily basis the Safety & security regional manager in his/her role.

Key Responsibilities

Interns with SCI will have the opportunity to work alongside the amazing Save the Children team members, who are committed to helping interns develop and refine their skills within a chosen field. Intern's work will focus on the advancement of important strategic projects within an assigned department or program.

Trainees have a 6-month work placement where they gain hands on experience in the sector within one of Save the Children ARO departments. This is complemented with tailored learning modules throughout the scheme which incorporate learning, experiential learning, distance learning and personal reflection as well as intensive academic study and the submission of written assignments in English. Trainees are supported by a coach throughout the scheme.

**Applicants must be nationals of countries of the Asia region and eligible to live and work in these countries.
