Role Description
The Sales Director - E-commerce & Social Commerce is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role is responsible for leading sales strategy and execution for e-commerce and social commerce channels, including setting revenue targets, building sales plans, and monitoring performance.
The Sales
Director will manage and coach the sales team, oversee sales operations processes, and ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Daily activities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, cultivating key client relationships, collaborating with marketing and product teams, and optimizing sales workflows and reporting. The role also involves analyzing market trends, preparing regular sales forecasts, and implementing initiatives to drive sustainable growth across digital commerce platforms.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Sales and Sales Operations, with experience managing end-to-end sales cycles and performance metrics.
Demonstrated ability in
Business Development, including identifying opportunities, building pipelines, and closing strategic partnerships.
Proficiency in Customer Service, with a focus on maintaining long-term client relationships and ensuring high satisfaction.
Proven Team Management experience, including leading, mentoring, and developing sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in e-commerce and social commerce, ideally within the tech or digital services sector.
Ability to analyze data, use CRM tools, and create actionable sales insights and reports.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; proficiency in Vietnamese is an advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving growth in competitive markets.
