Mô tả công việc
• Howden Vietnam is currently recruiting a New Build Sales Engineer.
• This is an exciting Business Development opportunity for all Howden product portfolio based in Vietnam and potentially in Southeast Asia. This role's main purpose is to drive and further develop the market, by increasing market share and positioning Howden as a market leader in Steam Turbine Projects: Power, Biomass, Waste to Energy, and Waste Heat Recovery in Vietnam.
• Monitoring and reporting market activity and trends to ensure that Howden Steam Turbine is productive and consistent with market conditions. Promote the overall Howden Steam Turbine portfolio, always striving to offer the most competitive solution for our customers. Coordinate all bid activities internally with proposals, operations, commercial managers, etc.
• Responsible in achieving annual sales budget (bookings, revenue and margin) by preparing and negotiating quotes
• Proactively hunt for project leads, develop the leads and execute the New Build segments sales process, from enquiry through to customer order.
• Developing sound relationships with customers and partners
• Responsible to ensure prompt and accurate responses to customer for parts and technical enquiries

Yêu cầu
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal): must be able to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization with tact and diplomacy with a high level of cultural sensitivity
• Ability to interpret financial data and perform accurate pricing calculations (pricing, margins, exchange rates)
• Minimum of 4 years experience working in Sales for technical products
• Experience with major steam turbine OEM or major turbine services providers is favorable
• In-depth knowledge of steam turbine applications & solution customization
• Familiarity with power generation markets
• Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer expectations
• Knowledge of competitors' products and go-to-market strategies
• Presentation and public speaking skill
• Timely and well-organized communicator
• General familiarity with factory operations and design engineering processes
• Have a technical background of products, process, equipment related to Power, Biomass to Energy, Waste to Energy, Waste Heat Recovery.
• Be able to read drawings, PI&D, OEM manuals
• High level of PC literacy, especially MS Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer
• Experience with CRM is preferable
• Parts interpretation ability
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and work both independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work under pressure while keeping a positive and result-driven attitude
• Negotiation skills
• High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain high level of accuracy
• High level of PC literacy, especially MS Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer
• Project hunting mentality
• Communication skills (written and verbal)
• High level of attention to detail
• Understanding of Steam Turbine and process application
• Dealing with demanding customers and demanding priorities
• Identify opportunities to enhance effectiveness, streamline activities and procedures, overcome obstacles and to utilise resources more effectively
• Must have a business mindset and know how to spot opportunities/leads to grow the business
• Understanding customers' need, customer' budget approval process, customers' buying process, bidding and tenders, etc.
• Ability to interpret technical problems of customers into potential business solutions/services for Howden to grow the business and market shares
• Interpersonal skills of interaction with customers' various stakeholders and decision-makers from operation and maintenance, technical department, planning and procurement department, middle management, top management, etc.
