1. ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Reports directly to: Managing Director - Vietnam
Dotted line reporting to: Sales Director - Asia
Responsible directly for:
2. Vietnam (HCMC and Hanoi)
2.1.1. All regional budgeted sales both produced and outsourced - with specific focus on the key accounts as advised by the MD from time to time.
2.1.2. The achievement of the sales budget by month and by year.
2.1.3. Responsible for the annual sales budget compilation by customer, brand and marketing class. This budget will be presented to the MD VN and the SD of Asia for final consideration.
2.1.4. Responsible for non-budgeted growth projects.
2.1.5. Responsible for gathering market information in general, and identifying opportunity
2.1.6. Responsible for ensuring full market intelligence gathering of competitor activities, especially at key accounts
2.1.7. To determine estimate demands by product type/material type monthly
2.1.8. To take care of the customer services team, and manage the daily functions
2.1.9. To ensure customer satisfaction
2.1.10. Respond to customer queries, and train based on the industry norms and standards
2.1.11. The development of a strategic sales plan for Vietnam together with the MD VN and the Sales Manager - New Business. This will include but not limited to:
a) Non accredited opportunities.
b) SLA's
c) Service oriented developments (grow barriers to entry at key customers)
d) Customer service.
e) Management of deliveries when urgency or flexibility required together with production.
f) Maximise pricing/margins outside of set global pricing.
g) Market intelligence
h) Key customer relationship building at key levels within their organisation's.
i) Forward understanding and information of customer demands by marketing class (forecasting).
j) Ensuring debtors book is maintained at group policy level.
2.1.12. All sales staff (representation and customer services)
2.2. Human Resources - staffing
2.2.1. Ensure staffing levels are maintained as agreed with MD and SD.
2.2.2. Enforce rules & disciplines in line with company standards.
2.2.3. Operate within Vietnam labour laws and regulations.
2.3. Health & Safety
2.3.1. Ensure all staff adhere to relevant H&S regulations.
2.3.2. Operate within Vietnam laws where applicable.
2.4. Quality
2.4.1. Review customer complaints and non-conformances in order to suggest corrective & preventative actions.
2.4.2. Ensure corrective actions and preventative actions are implemented.
2.4.3. Ensure customers aware of quality standards, and agreed standards with the brands/industry
2.5. Sampling & Development
2.5.1. Execute requests for Product Development and Sampling where required by customers/vendors through correct channels and policies.
2.5.2. Advise improved designs to maximize productivity / costs.
2.5.3. Advise production restrictions/compliance to the sampling and/or product development depts.
2.6. Stocks
2.6.1. Ensure all correct documentation and policies are followed when suggesting stock inputs on behalf of customers/vendors.
2.6.2. Maintain and manage all stock put in on behalf of customers/vendors.
2.7. Brand Protection
2.7.1. As the regional sales manager it is your duty and responsibility to ensure that our customers (chainstore/vendor/Brand owner) brands are protected and necessary artwork/designs etc. are handled with the utmost care and confidentiality.
