Mô tả công việc

i. Merchant acquisition and onboarding
Candidate is to lead the merchant acquisition which includes prospecting, negotiation of marketplace fees with Merchants and the development of marketing tools to automate the acquisition paperwork process. Candidate is expected to actively onboard existing physical in-mall Merchants onto the e-commerce marketplace, as well as to conduct proactive search and perform suitability studies for external Merchants and brands and make curated recommendations to onboard these external Merchants and brands onto the e-commerce marketplace. Candidate is also required to offer strategic thinking and develop merchant expansion strategy plans and work with merchants to ensure a merchandize placement (assortment and pricing) that commensurate with end-user customers' needs. The onboarding process will require candidate to work with various cross functional departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process for the Merchants and for the development of the acquisition marketing tools.
ii. Merchant account management
Candidate will be in charge of the accounts for the assigned in-mall tenants and external merchants and brands and is expected to build credibility and trust with these merchants and provide value-added services to the merchant partners to improve performance on the e-commerce marketplace. Candidate will work with the Business Intelligence team and be involved in the sales target setting with the merchants and will be required to monitor, review, audit and benchmark the sales and performance KPIs of the merchants on a regular basis to ensure the targets are achieved and merchandise inventory are constantly available. Should targets not be achieved, candidate is expected to work with these merchants on an action-review plan to ensure improvement actions (such as product range expansion, promotions etc.) from the merchants are carried out and/or supporting actions from the Developer (such as publicity and marketing partnerships) can be introduced to assist the merchants.
iii. Partnerships with merchants
Collaborate with merchants to plan and execute opportunities to increase revenue for the e-commerce marketplace. Work with the digital marketing team to secure exclusive partnerships with merchants for key campaigns such as TET, Summer Sales, Black Friday, 1.1, 2.2, 3.3, 4.4, 5.5, 6.6, 7.7, 8.8, 9.9, 10.10, 11.11 & 12.12, as well as to secure new exclusive product launches, sponsorship and exciting mechanics each month/each quarter to support PR pushes. Candidate is expected to build and manage relationships with Merchants to negotiate promotions, marketing spend, and ensure a high level of participation in our planned key campaigns.
iv. Corporate governance for merchants
As the Employer belongs to a public listed MNC in Singapore, it is expected for all business processes to be in adherence to international best practices and the company's corporate governance process. The candidate is expected to be involved in the creation of standardized operating procedures, forms and processes for the best practices of the e-commerce marketplace, including but not limited to the curation checklist and acquisition process of Merchants, Merchants' annual fee table, Merchant's partnership terms and conditions, Marketplace onboard agreement and letter of offer etc. v. Enhancing attractiveness of shopper membership sign-ups Candidate will have the opportunity to suggest initiatives and new ideas to enhance the attractiveness of the e-commerce marketplace platform to encourage membership sign-up and drive recurring member's spending in e-commerce marketplace. Candidate is also expected to work with merchants and our membership engagement team in introducing partnerships for such membership recruitment drive. Candidate will also be required to track shifts in brand and retail industries against initial strategy plans to recommend necessary adjustments and optimizations to ensure our marketplace offerings are up-to-date and attractive to shoppers

Yêu cầu

a) Candidate should have been in similar/ related field of work, in particular (i) retail leasing management, (ii) e-commerce marketplace business development or (iii) e-commerce marketplace key accounts management for at least 3 years.
b) Candidate should have high professional ethical standards
c) A passion for e-commerce and love for the brand/retail industry
d) Strong understanding of online marketplace metrics, trends, strategies & best practices for applications into improving sales performance.
e) A go-getter personality with a hunger to learn and improve and be open to feedbacks
f) Good communications skills (in both English and Vietnamese), innovative thinker, detail oriented with good problem solving ability and a good team player.
g) Good people management skills to ensure a cohesive and performance driven team as this role will require cross-functional department collaboration
h) Proficient in use of technology platforms in areas of e-commerce data analytics software, sales performance tracking software etc.
i) Able to adhere to organisational procedures and guidelines.
j) Bachelor's degree with relevant areas of expertise.
