Job Summary

Ensure monthly financial reports (MFR), budget, audit and tax return forms are prepared timely and accurately and lead AR & AP team in daily tasks for prompt closure
Analysis of financial statements for better decision makings
Drive/participate in process improvement for all areas of reporting and operational functions as Finance Lead, including SOP compliance and system automation where applicable

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Monthly MFR and year-end closing
Ensure AR and AP team perform timely billing and payment processing, reconciliations and intercompany debit notes issued.
Perform monthly and year-end closing with journals and updated schedules
Prepare a monthly financial report (MFR) to meet the targeted deadline, 10th of every month

Monitoring of cashflows
Monitors the cash flow into and out of the organisation to maintain liquidity requirements.

Budget, Audit and Tax Compliance
Prepare, compile yearly budget from operations and submit within the group targeted timeline.
Evaluate business performance, analyse the cause of financial deviations by comparing actual and budget.
Prepare audit file, answering audit queries, SST and corporate tax compliance.

Intercompany, AR, AP, bank reconciliation

Perform intercompany, AR, AP, bank balance reconciliation within the timeline, 7th of the month

To lead and initiate the preparation of data analytics for Ops team, to participate and engage in operational decisions.

Process Improvement and other ad-hoc reports and analysis
i. Involve in project implementation and process improvement.
ii. Provide information and analysis to meet the requirement of management.
iii. Other tasks or assignments given by the Manager.

Qualifications:

Professional Qualification - Degree/partial professional qualified
