Mô tả công việc
The AI & Optimization team is seeking a hands-on machine learning expert for research, design and development of cutting-edge technologies applied in projects that will help us to (i) improve the productivity and efficiency of Vinfast operations, and (ii) shape the future of Vinfast vehicles with the goal of enhancing our customer's experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong expertise in ML/Data Science/Optimization, and a solid background in data structures and algorithms.
In this role, you will be responsible for design & development of novel algorithms & applications, as well as guiding junior members to become experts. You will be working closely with other business and software development teams to support the product development, evaluation & deployment. - Identifying patterns / abnormalies in all kind of business data, including bill of materials (BOM) of a car, and all data related to purchasing, production and logistic planning.
- Boosting coding productivity & security by exploting recent advances in LLMs.
- Predictive maintenance: predicting when a maintenance is required from vehicle data.
- Supply chain optimization: demand forcasting, inventory and route optimization.
- Quality control by analyzing historical defect data in manufacturing.
- Customized manufacturing for improving personalized experience.

Yêu cầu
• PhD/MSc/Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Maths, Statistics, or related fields.
• +2 years of relating experience
• Deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals (including regression, classification, clustering, SVM, deep neural networks, Bayesian inference, cross-validations etc).
• Solid background in data structures & algorithms.
• Good mathematical skills (combinatorial/convex optimization, statistics, linear algebra).
• Strong programming or software development skills (Python / C++).
• Extensive experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and Tensorflow.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and pro-actively in cross functional business units.
• Experience leading research topics through a full pipeline: from concept to proof and validation.
• Excellent communcation, especially written and organizational skills.
PREFERRED:
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Large language models (LLM), Natural Language Processing (NLP), training or fine-tuning of virtual assistant systems, Chat-bots, Bayesian Inference, Time Series, training large models on distributed computing.
• Experience in applying combinatorial optimization to solving real-world problems.
• Experience in applying ML techniques to business data such as SAP/logistics/manufacturing.
• Candidates who have national/international prizes on informatics/maths are encouraged to apply.
• +2 years of relating experience
