We are a web development company based in Japan, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, and Singapore, supporting 0 to 1 development and DX for startup entrepreneurs and new business divisions mainly in Southeast Asia.

In 2023, we opened our first Vietnam office in Ho Chi Minh City.

In this position:

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be joining one of our ongoing projects, which is being worked on by a multi-national scrum team.

You will be working in the office.

A project manager and a few other developers will be in the office. The rest of the team members are based in different countries in Asia. There are some other members working in the same office, working on different projects.

The client company is Japanese, but the communication will be in English through the team, so decent English communication skill is required to be a part of the team.

You will be joining scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and Refinement depending on the situation.

Requirements:

• Happy to work offline in the office with our members
• 8+ years of experience in software development
• Open & Honest communication skills
• English Proficiency
• Experience in Agile development using Scrum

Must have:

• Strong Experience in backend development
• Strong Experience in [protected info] x TypeScript (JavaScript) development
• Experience in AWS (especially Lambda and Cognito)
• Experience in Serverless Framework
• Experience and knowledge in adopting Object
• Oriented programming or Functional programming
• Experience and knowledge in applying Design Patterns
• Experience in Algorithm and Data Structure
• Strong problem
• solving and analytical skills

Huge plus:

• Experience in backend development using other programming languages
• Experience in IaC (Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation)
• Experience in frontend development using [protected info] or similar
• Project Management skills / Team Management skills
• Experience working in a global team
