Senior Backend NodeJS, Python, Raw Media

As a Backend Engineer, your role will have:

• Design, build, and maintain the backend systems essential for our video product offerings.
• Assume ownership of specific features and components, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and effective delivery.
• Manage large-scale data and complex video processing tasks, while conducting performance optimizations.
• Continually enhance our engineering practices and code quality through rigorous peer reviews.
• Juggle multiple tasks and projects, effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate quick and precise problem-solving capabilities, taking personal responsibility for outcomes.
• Focus on results, with strong planning skills to meet project timelines

About you

• 8+ years' experience developing Backend technologies using Node, Python in a cloud environment.
• University Degree within the field of Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Expertise in API design and integration
• Strong experience with relational databases and proficiency in SQL
• Experience in developing event-driven architectures and implementing message queue systems
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases is an advantage
• Solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems architectures
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD, monitoring, and logging
• Comfortable working across a range of technologies and are flexible to adapt to the shifting demands of the role
