About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Bridge Engineer to support the design review, technical coordination, and construction oversight of bridges and viaducts for a major High-Speed Railway (HSR) project in Vietnam.
This role will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure bridge structures are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project and engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Review bridge and viaduct designs for technical compliance, constructability, and structural safety
• Coordinate interfaces between civil structures and railway systems, including track, OCS, cable routes, and safety access
• Participate in BIM/model coordination reviews and resolve design clashes
• Support site inspections and construction supervision activities, including concrete works, prestressing, erection, launching, and installation activities
• Review technical documents, method statements, inspection records, and quality reports
• Monitor NCR/punch list closure and support project acceptance and handover documentation
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, contractors, and design teams throughout project execution
• Provide regular updates on design reviews, construction progress, and technical issues
Yêu cầu
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 8-12+ years of experience in bridge/viaduct design or construction supervision for railway, metro, or major infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of bridge engineering, structural analysis, and construction methods
• Experience working with multidisciplinary infrastructure teams and BIM coordination
• Familiar with Vietnamese construction regulations and international engineering standards
• Good English communication skills for technical coordination and reporting
Preferred Competencies
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with good coordination capability
• Proactive and able to work in fast-paced project environments
• Experience in railway or transportation infrastructure projects is an advantage
