Role Summary
We are looking for a Data Analyst Engineer who sits at the intersection of business and data. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of business departments (Operations, Sales, Human Resources,
Marketing, Accounting, Finance) and transform their business logic into structured DataMart layers - then help users automate their daily reporting tasks before moving into advanced analytics.
The data platform is ready and the raw data is waiting - your job is to turn it into something people can actually use.
Key Responsibilities
Gather business requirements from cross-functional departments (Operations, Sales, Human
Resources, Marketing, Accounting, Finance) and translate them into technical specifications and datamart designs.
Design datamart schema and transformation logic using SQL and Python. You will be trained on
Git/Airflow to independently set up datamarts (raw → bronze → silver → gold). Pipeline monitoring and performance optimization are handled by the DE team.
Build reports and dashboards in Superset and Power BI. Provide REST APIs for internal applications.
Follow the team's data governance standards and document metric definitions and mart layers accordingly.
Perform ad-hoc analysis for business stakeholders as needed.
Tech stack: ClickHouse, Superset, Power BI (experience with other stacks is welcomed)
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a data analyst.
SQL and Python for data processing and transformation
Willing to learn and use Git and Airflow for DataMart setup.
Proficient in at least one BI tool (primarily Superset/Power BI, but experience with Qlik/Tableau/Looker is welcomed).
Foundation-first mindset - comfortable building and stabilizing data before analyzing it, with a focus on supporting operational teams first.
Strong stakeholder communication skills.
Ownership of DataMart logic and commitment to supporting business users
