With this Senior Data Engineer position at EPAM Vietnam, you will get involved in building analytics products in a key strategic platform by using emerging tools and techniques. If you are confident in your experience with Java, AWS, Spark and have the desire to work on a high-profile global project, this role is perfect for you.

What You'll Do

Work as a developer with strong involvement in the entire software development lifecycle
Work collaboratively with product owners and technology partners to understand and clarify requirements
Migrate existing solutions into AWS Cloud
Design and develop highly scalable industry-leading applications

What You Have

At least 5 years of working experience in Big Data with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
More than 4 years of experience in application development using Java Core
Strong expertise and knowledge in Big Data platforms such as Apache Cassandra, Apache Spark, Databricks & AWS Cloud data service
Good to have any of Kubernetes, Linux, Linux Scripting, SQL Server SSIS
Proficient in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test- driven development (TDD)
Experience in developing & implementing solutions utilizing Data Lake & stream processing engines like Kafka, Spark, etc
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of information systems, business processes, key drivers, and measures of success while choosing the proper methodologies and policies to support broad business goals
