Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer/Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in Edtech team of VUS by working collaboratively with the engineering, product, and devops teams to ensure the effective validation, maintenance, and operation of our data platform.Your role & responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the engineering and product teams to validate data modules and requirements.
Work in tandem with the DevOps team to maintain and operate our highly available and scalable data platform.
Manage and optimize ETL processes for large datasets.
Utilize technical stacks, including modern data platform tools such as Google Cloud, Clickhouse, BigQuery, Airflow, Dataflow, DBT, Dataform, Kafka, ZetaSql, and more.
Apply knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and SQL.
Work with various databases, including MySQL, Clickhouse, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
Utilize experience with cloud data platforms, such as AWS or GCP.
Develop a strategic mindset and the ability to transform data analysis into meaningful business recommendations.
Your skills & qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering and analytics roles.
Proven experience in ETL processes involving large datasets.
Familiarity with modern data platform tools, including BigQuery, Clickhouse, Airflow, Dataflow, DBT, Dataform, Kafka, ZetaSql, and more.
Demonstrate proficiency in programming with Python/Golang.
Experience with big streaming data platforms.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and SQL.
Experience with cloud data platforms like AWS or GCP.
Outstanding time management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
