We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist with advanced technical skills to join our team at EPAM Vietnam. The role involves conducting research and development to build innovative machine learning models and algorithms that will enhance our user experiences.

In addition to this, your strong technical skills will be the key factor in driving the team toward success.

What You'll Do

Conduct research and development to build innovative machine learning models and algorithms (such as collaborative filtering, graph-based algorithm, etc.) that drive business value
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Analyze and evaluate the performance of machine learning models and identify opportunities for improvement
Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning technologies and leverage them to improve the recommendation systems

What You Have

More than 4 years of experience in Data Science with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent
Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with recommender and neural network algorithms
Experience in building recommendation systems in an e-commerce environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and derive insights from them
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues on time
Fluency in both written and spoken English (B2)
