Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

EPAM Vietnam is looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) with expertise in Amazon EKS, Knative, and Terraform to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic team and make a significant impact on global projects.

• Design and implement AWS EKS infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or AWS CodePipeline
• Use Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for IaC and version control systems
• Implement and manage Knative components for serverless capabilities on AWS EKS
• Set up monitoring and logging systems: AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus or ELK stack to gather performance metrics, log data and alert AWS EKS cluster with Knative workloads
• Implement security best practices for the AWS EKS environment
• Continuously improve deployment process and infrastructure with automation using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation,and Knative, while optimizing resource utilization and cost efficiency of AWS EKS cluster

• At least 5 years of experience in AWS services, particularly AWS EKS, EC2, S3, EFS, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, Glue, IAM, VPC, AWS CloudFormation and related services
• Proficient in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration with Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD or AWS CodePipeline
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, including knowledge of AWS CloudFormation for specific use
• Strong scripting and automation skills using languages like Bash, Python or PowerShell
• Familiar with networking concepts, security best practices, and troubleshooting techniques in cloud environment
