The position holder is responsible for identifying and managing overall equipment effectivess (OEE) and asset availability across the Nui Phao Mining Company (NPMC) and Masan Tungsten Chemicals (MTC) refinery. The position holder is also responsible for identifying and implementing longer term asset management improvements, as well as the optimization of the plant wide process control system.
* MAIN DUTIES:
- Ensure that cost effective and efficient maintenance activities are carried out across the operation
- Provide technical support to the maintenance department to effectively maintain the fixed plant assets.
- Optimise the site asset maintenance management strategy, develop Equipment Maintenance Strategies, and implement asset condition monitoring techniques.
- Manage asset integrity & process control system improvement programs and projects.
- Apply reliability centred maintenance (RCM) techniques such as RCA and FMECA to assess critical equipment failures and implement solutions.
- Support the feasibility, design and delivery of management of change requests & minor capital improvement projects.
- Provide front line supervision, training, mentorship and manage the performance of the national electrical engineering team.
- Champion the companies controlled document management guideline procedure within the maintenance department and it's implementation of the maintenance Document Management System (DMS). Manage the technical review and transfer of new controlled documents from capital project delivery to the Maintenance DMS.
- Liaise/consult with internal stakeholders to identify & execute improvements to maintenance and operational processes & equipment.
- Perform other tasks as assignment.
Yêu cầu công việc
• A minimum 10 years' experience in mining and resource industry with significant and detailed exposure to crushers, grinding mills, pump systems, VSDs, transformers, process control systems and power distribution etc.
• Demonstrated experience with the ABB 800xa automation process control system or similar reputable DCS is mandatory.
• Strong operational and maintenance experience with high voltage transmission (110kV), electrical distribution networks (22kV) and low voltage distribution systems.
• Protection systems analysis, protection coordination and management, including systems modelling on ETAP or similar.
• Hands on experience with control system communications networks, such as Profibus, Modbus and Ethernet/IP.
• Hands on experience as a systems administrator with process control infrastructure within an Operational Technology (OT) environment.
• Sound knowledge of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA), including the full lifecycle from design, installation, and maintenance to international Standards.
• Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance techniques and a desire to get behind and drive Equipment Maintenance Strategies.
• Electrical & instrumentation design and calculation skills desirable
• Exposure to the minor capital project lifecycle as a project engineer or manager. Project Management qualifications desirable.
• Awareness and understanding of Safety, Health, Environment and Community acts/regulations.
• Sound knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP), Microsoft applications, OSIsoft Pi system, document management systems, and AutoCAD.
• Superior communications skills and able to relate at all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical capabilities and a desire to think strategically.
• A positive, willing attitude, personal resilience, resourcefulness and ability to adapt to a new and culturally diverse environment.
