The Finance Business Partner acts as a trusted advisor to commercial and operational teams within Business Unit Healthcare, translating financial data into actionable business insights. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will support principal (client) P&L management, commercial decision-making, planning and forecasting cycles, and margin protection initiatives. This role is ideal for a finance professional who combines strong analytical rigor with curiosity for AI and automation tools to modernize how finance delivers value to the business.
Business Partnering & Commercial Finance
• Act as finance partner to
Business Development, Client Management, Commercial Heads and Supply Chain teams, providing financial insight to support commercial decisions
• Prepare and analyze principal/client P&Ls; monitor profitability by client, channel, and product portfolio; flag margin erosion risks early
• Support commercial negotiations and distribution agreement reviews with financial modeling (margin structures, payment terms, FX/ERF mechanisms, working capital impact)
• Prepare business cases and investment proposals with robust challenge of key assumptions
Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
• Lead/support budget, rolling forecast, and quarterly landing processes for assigned clients or P&L areas; coordinate with Regional Finance and BU stakeholders
• Deliver monthly performance reviews: actual vs. budget/forecast variance analysis with clear root-cause narrative and corrective action recommendations
• Build and maintain management dashboards and executive-ready presentations (business reviews, client reviews, board materials)
• Monitor key working capital metrics (DSO, DOH/CDOH, inventory provisions) and support cash flow optimization
AI, Automation & Digital Finance
• Apply AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT/Claude, or equivalent) to accelerate analysis, reporting commentary, and presentation preparation in a responsible and compliant manner
• Identify, design, and implement automation of recurring finance processes using Power Query, Power BI, Power Automate, Excel VBA/Python, or RPA tools
• Champion data quality and standardization; build automated data pipelines from SAP to reporting layers to reduce manual workload and closing time
• Act as a change agent within the finance team, sharing best practices on digital tools and upskilling colleagues
Systems & Compliance
• Work hands-on with SAP (FI/CO, SD/MM modules) for reporting, reconciliation, and master data integrity; support system enhancement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with DKSH internal control framework, Group accounting policies, and local regulations applicable to pharmaceutical distribution
• Support internal/external audits and ad-hoc compliance reviews as required
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
• 4-6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, controlling, or finance business partnering, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare distribution, FMCG, or MNC environment
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (FI/CO required; SD/MM exposure is an advantage)
• Demonstrated experience applying AI tools and/or process automation in finance work (e.g., Power BI dashboards, Power Query/Power Automate flows, Python/VBA scripts, prompt-based AI workflows) - candidates should be able to present concrete examples
• Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills; able to produce executive-ready materials independently
• Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and attention to detail
• Good command of English (written and spoken); able to communicate with regional stakeholders and global principals
• High integrity, proactive ownership, and ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
