The Senior Finance & Accounting Associate will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting activities, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and budget/forecast.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.

2. Accounting Operations:

Oversee daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and report any significant variances to management.

4. Compliance and Audit:

Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
Coordinate and support external and internal audits.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
