I. OVERVIEW:
- Responsible for synthesizing and analyzing reports to the Group's leadership on the business planning and performance results of duty-free operations on a monthly basis.
- Accountable for consolidating group-wide reports within the Oracle system regarding duty-free business operations.
- Oversee the compilation of regular cash flow reports for the entire group, supporting the CFO in managing banking relationships and financial institutions to arrange credit limits, negotiate optimal credit terms for the group.
- Assist in reviewing and evaluating investment projects (duty-free) such as launching new brands, new stores, etc., within the group of companies.
- Support analysis and exploration of alternative options to enhance the efficiency of utilizing financial resources for duty-free business within the unit/group.
- Organize the arrangement of financial and non-financial information systems within the Group's Finance and Accounting Department to facilitate timely and accurate information delivery.
II. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact with the unit/corporate leadership, as well as the Planning and Controlling (P&C) departments of subsidiary units to develop a medium and long-term business model for the duty-free business of the unit/group. This involves setting long-term financial goals, investment models, operational targets to maximize financial efficiency with the objective of "highest efficiency with minimum resources."
- Implement annual business planning with subsidiary units in duty free operations including:
· Planning and sending budget guidelines to subsidiary units.
· Urging and collecting budget plans, business plans from subsidiary units to submit to the group.
· Analyzing, reviewing, and evaluating budget plans, interacting with the P&C departments of companies to ensure budget planning is closely aligned with business conditions, effective.
· Organizing budget approval meetings for the duty-free business sector.
· Ensuring approved budgets and business plans are updated into the Oracle system for monitoring and comparing implementation status.
- Monitor budget implementation, analyze the periodic performance of duty-free business of the Group/subsidiary units, timely alerting budget plan risks, business plan risks.
- Build an internal financial management database, including providing feedback on building, editing, checking, monitoring Oracle system and related information systems to serve the purposes of analysis, planning, forecasting, and decision-making, ensuring seamless, efficient connections of administrative information streams within the unit/group.
- Develop consolidated reporting systems, management analysis reports & key financial/KPI indicators (dashboard) for the group's leadership to have a clear understanding of the business and financial situation of the group, effectively control the business performance of each subsidiary unit.
- Interact, provide information to Banks, support CFO in managing banking relationships for the entire group in the duty-free business sector.
- Support the assessment of significant duty-free business decisions of the group such as M&A, evaluating the feasibility of investment projects, supporting the search for project financing sources, monitoring the overall project implementation status.
- Build and train a suitable human resources team to realize the goals, scope, and job responsibilities.
- Perform other tasks as required by the Executive Vice President of Operations and Finance or the Executive Board.
