Mô tả công việc
Purpose of this role
1. Drive a value proposition that builds a unique advantage for Li and Fung including developing and/or deepening strategic relationships with our key vendor partners.
2. Create a competitive cost advantage for both LF and our vendors through CM and Raw Material consumption analysis and line management.
3. Build connectivity with the local vendors to reduce cost and improve work efficiency.
Responsibilities
1. Analyze CMT and Productivity details for targeted core and/or development styles based on garment sketches or samples and provide CM to costing teams.
• Analyze/Develop raw material consumption as necessary and make recommendations to improve efficiency.
• Calculate SAM/SMV values per style as directed by sourcing/costing MR.
• Work with vendors to ensure high efficiency and low wastage in cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.
• Suggest and drive creative solutions to reduce cost and/or increase efficiency.
• Partner with vendors to identify opportunities for improvement in the areas of line balancing, quality, training, and operator output.
• Forge stronger relationships with vendors locally while developing and maintaining existing relationships through ongoing communication.

Yêu cầu
• Well-versed in GSD/SAM/SMV calculation, running production line efficiency, and meeting output targets.
• Diploma or Degree in Fabric, Clothing, Textile or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in factory I/E position.
• Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with merchandising and product development process
• Able to work under pressure, result-oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive, and detail-minded.
• Ability to build strong relationships with the team as a good team leader, and communicate effectively with internal and external parties
• Strong problem-solving skills, able to manage multiple tasks environment
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Some travel is required.
• Diploma or Degree in Fabric, Clothing, Textile or related discipline preferred.
