Senior Industrial Engineer

Essential functions and key responsibilities are:
● Evaluate current processes and procedures through process mapping to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
● Root cause analysis including observations, developing recommendations, and implementing improvement opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
● Develop, present, and implement cost saving opportunities through key LEAN and Six Sigma principles.
● Execute changes to reduce costs, optimize capacity, and determine the optimal size of our facility based on available space, production needs, and costs.
● Identify areas where improvements can be made in the production process; implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
● Collaborate with supply chain, finance, manufacturing and operations to understand current processes and identify bottlenecks, work balance efficiency.
● Develop solutions for process improvement while ensuring compliance with industrial standards.
● Layout and space readiness initiatives for existing line optimization and new line installations, including merge new lines & products into existing and expanding factory footprint.
● Support of structured problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
● Perform other tasks as assigned.
