ROLE
The Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Administrator keeps the company's technical platform running:
network, servers, cloud tenancy, connectivity between the Germany and Vietnam locations, and the
backup chain. The role acts as the primary technical owner of infrastructure operations, monitoring,
backup, and technical documentation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain and optimize LAN/WAN architecture, multi-site network topologies, firewalls,
routers, switches, and secure VPN access.
• Administer, configure, and maintain on-premises and cloud environments (Windows Server,
Linux) and hypervisors (Hyper-V).
• Manage the full Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (Azure AD) ecosystem, including Exchange Online,
SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive.
• Manage backup job scheduling, monitoring, and retention policies; perform periodic restore
testing and disaster recovery drills to validate recovery point/time objectives (RPO/RTO).
• Monitor system health, performance metrics, and capacity trends; proactively remediate risks
and system bottlenecks.
• Maintenance of the technical documentation and the configuration baseline.
• Serve as the L3 escalation point for complex technical issues routed from
IT Support Engineers
and Helpdesk staff.
• Implementing and operating security controls across infrastructure and cloud environments
by IT Security Manager, ensuring secure access management, vulnerability remediation,
security monitoring, incident response, and compliance with security standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Line Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Engineering, or related
discipline.
• 3 or more years in system and network administration in a mid-sized environment.
• Technical Stack: Microsoft 365 and Windows Server, Linux basics, virtualization, firewall and VPN
configuration, cloud hosting, backup & recovery.
• Structured documentation habits; this role is the single point of failure if knowledge is not
written down.
• Good English communication skills; ability to document and present technical information
clearly.
• Basic knowledge of German language or experience working in a German/European company
environment is a plus.
