Senior Lead Software Engineer

We are embarking on a challenging but exciting new chapter. We're expanding our operations in Vietnam and we are looking for Lead Software Developers who will help us build our development teams in that country, bring strategic mindset to projects and technical vision to life. As a Lead Software Engineer in Vietnam, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a group of skilled software engineers and work with both local and remote teams around the world. You will be expected to analyze and find solutions for a wide range of software development areas that directly impact the performance of the software we build.

Role Objectives

• Help us build and manage our Vietnam based software development teams
• Work with our CTO, Delivery Officer and Development Team Leads to choose technologies and design solutions offered by Logicea
• Lead the entire software development life cycle and ensure technical integrity and quality control consistency
• Act as a mentor and provide technical guidance and coaching to developers through both your technical knowledge and leadership skills
• Diagnose software related issues and investigate alternatives for architectural review
• Stay up-to-date on the cutting-edge technology trends and help introduce them where appropriate

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related experience
• Proven experience in managing software development teams using Agile, CI/CD flows, team pairing, and infrastructure automation
• Experience in advocating for technical excellence while being open to change when needed
• Well versed in at least two programming languages, such as JavaScript (React), Java, Kotlin etc.
• Knowledge of Functional Programming Patterns
• Powerful and effective communication (verbal and written) in English
• Proven participation in the development of innovative and impactful software solutions
• Ability to lead effective a team and foster collaboration within
• Strong commitment to quality
• Decision-making ability and strong problem-solving skills
