Senior Media Planner
Job Description:
Key Accountabilities:
Lead Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) planning and delivery of client campaigns - To have comprehensive rationale from a consumer, data, performance, competitors, and media landscape perspective to deliver a strong plan.
Lead Customer Data Platform (CDP) solution planning and delivery of CDP client campaigns with CDP and social creative partners.
Assist with planning new business pitches and coordinate with related parties to manage the pitch on quality, cost, and timing to match the expectations of Direct report and Client.
Ensure the successful optimization of all client campaigns, including reviewing campaign performance and optimizing based on continuous feedback from both clients.
Campaign reporting is carried out to the highest standards - as well as delivering commentary, insights, and actions to the Client daily, weekly, and monthly.
Contribute your ideas and opinions on your Client's business, how we work, and our industry; establish a presence in the agency; have a voice in meetings.
Understand individual client needs (including and beyond specific projects) so you can help them succeed in their roles; ensure clients have the necessary information and materials they need to do their jobs well.
Work to develop a solid understanding of the Client's business, emphasizing your area of responsibility.
Be collaborative across functions.
Other works as required by the Employer from time to time.
Job Requirements
Knowledge & Experience
3+ years of marketing experience (at least one year of hands-on strategic planning experience).
Deep understanding of communication/branding, digital marketing, and social media platforms.
Skills And Abilities
Negotiation skills: the ability to contribute to negotiation strategy and, if involved, demonstrate flexibility in style depending on the situation and stage of negotiation.
General understanding of business models and trends, particularly within the client sector.
Strong marketing, media, and communications concepts, models, skills, practices, tools, frameworks, etc.
Holistic view of Bought, Owned, and Earned (BOE) media.
Ability to analyze numerical data and draw reasonable and rational conclusions to underpin innovative strategic plans.
Project management skills: draw up a plan for delivery of work to deadlines and with all milestones plotted; follow up key deliverables to ensure timely delivery and head off any risk to this with proactive checking in.
