Senior Officer, Finance System & Automation Management

Lead and contribute to operation and continuous improvement of Finance systems, integrations, and approved automation solutions, including AI‐enabled tools and agent‐based workflows, by executing assigned system, data, and reporting tasks to support well‐controlled Finance processes and accurate, timely management information.

• Design, configure, enhance, and operate Finance systems and tools (e.g., ERP/EPM, Finance add‐ons, integrations, AI and automation services) within approved architectures and standards.
• Participate in the end‐to‐end delivery of system enhancements, including requirements clarification, solution design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and post‐go‐live support under agreed scope.
• Execute assigned configuration and integration tasks independently, escalating design or control impacts beyond approved scope to senior staff.
• Prepare and maintain system documentation, technical notes, operating procedures, and knowledge materials in accordance with established standards.

• Develop, test, and operate rule‐based and AI‐enabled automation solutions for Finance use cases
• Create and refine prompts, interaction flows, and processing logic for AI‐supported Finance applications in accordance with approved guardrails and usage guidelines.
• Validate automation and AI outputs for accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness; identify errors, limitations, or abnormal behaviors and take corrective actions or escalate as required.
• Support implementation of basic quality checks and operational metrics (e.g., run success, exception rates) for AI‐supported and automated processes.

• Design, build, and operate agentic workflows and task‐based agents to support Finance processes, under defined architecture patterns and control frameworks.
• Implement agent capabilities such as task decomposition, tool usage, data retrieval, and workflow execution for assigned Finance use cases.
• Configure agent connections to Finance systems, reporting processes, and approved tools, ensuring proper access controls and compliance with least‐privilege principles.
• Perform testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting of agent‐based processes; handle exceptions and escalate issues impacting controls, compliance, or system stability.

• Build and operate automation and agent‐based solutions on approved platforms to reduce manual effort and improve process efficiency in Finance activities.
• Identify manual, repetitive, or error‐prone Finance tasks and propose practical automation or agent‐assisted solutions for review and prioritization.
• Track basic execution data and operational feedback for developed automations (e.g., run results, exceptions, usage observations) to support benefit assessment.

• 5) Data, Security & Compliance
  • Ensure developed systems, automations, and agents comply with data privacy, access control, and segregation of duties (SoD) requirements defined by Finance and the Bank.
  • Follow approved controls and instructions when handling financial data, PII, system credentials, and AI inputs/outputs in accordance with internal policies and regulations (e.g., Vietnam PDPD - Decree 13/2023).
  • Maintain required technical logs, configuration records, and operational evidence for audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
  • Promptly report control gaps, data issues, or security concerns identified during development or operation of systems and agent‐based solutions.
  6) Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
  • Work closely with Finance users, IT, MIS, and Risk teams to understand requirements, implement solutions, and resolve system or automation issues.
  • Support coordination with external vendors or technology partners on solution development, defect resolution, or enhancement activities under assigned scope.
  • Participate in training, knowledge transfer, and user onboarding activities related to Finance systems, automations, and agent‐based solutions.

Senior Manager/ Teamlead

Internal stakeholders include Business Division, supporting department (IT, Business Finance, Strategy, Risk management...), Branches and other department of Finance & Planning Division

External stakeholders include Development & software supply partner related to developing and improving MIS system

• 3-5 years of experience in Banking or Finance Systems, Finance Transformation, or Data / AI Engineering roles supporting Finance.
• Strong hands‐on experience in configuration and enhancement of Finance or Banking applications (Finance preferred) and implementation of secure API or system integrations.
• Proven delivery of production rule‐based and applied‐AI automations, including:
• guardrails and validation checks
• human‐in‐the‐loop controls
• basic operational observability (quality, exceptions, stability)
• Solid experience building and operating orchestrated or agentic workflows (e.g., planner/executor or task‐based agent patterns), including handling retries, failures, timeouts, and controlled fallbacks.
• Strong understanding and practical application of controls and compliance, including:
• least‐privilege access
• segregation of duties (SoD)
• PII and data privacy requirements (Vietnam PDPD - Decree 13/2023; GDPR exposure is an advantage)
• maintenance of audit trails and evidence
• Technical proficiency in SQL and Python (or similar); hands‐on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; GCP/AWS acceptable), CI/CD, and version control.
• Proven experience participating in or supporting testing and release activities, including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, change management, runbooks, and post‐deployment hyper care.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Finance, IT, Risk, and other stakeholders; Vietnamese and English working proficiency.
