About the role

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to play a significant role in developing a state-of-the-art fintech platform in Vietnam together. The position requires a broad technical background with experience of the entire stack and a solid feeling for implementing modern UI/UX.

What will you do?

You will be working with a small tech team including a data scientist, product owner and front-end developer to build our loan management system.

You will be playing a key role in a fast-growing team focused on the very challenging tasks of developing world-class full-stack applications. As the team grows, you should help your team make good long-term decisions, and support them with their technical challenges.

You have at least 4 years (preferably more) of experience in web platform development. Most important is that your coding should be at the highest standard, easily maintainable and easy to read. You are able to work independently, you deliver on time and you take initiative to keep team communication alive at all times

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Strong in Django framework, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS3
Technical ownership of backend architecture and design
Work closely with Product Owners, and other departments to ensure on-time, high-quality deliveries.
Design and implement API endpoints for the Aliens API backend
Design, develop and execute highly scalable services
Lead & mentor technical development team to meet product milestones
Troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently
Take part in discussion meetings & provide input on how to solve requirements and build great architecture
Drive best practices and produce high-quality code
Maintain and improve backend and integration code bases.
Code review PRs and improve the code review process
Very important that the candidate is able to write well-structured and maintainable code
Great attention to detail, independence, self-motivation, hunger to learn - 'everything is possible'- mindset

NICE TO HAVE

Experience in building, maintaining and improving platforms
Experience in working on start-up projects
Experienced in optimizing and troubleshooting scaling performance
Experience with cloud infrastructure and cloud services, preferably GCP
Experience working on scalable systems
Experience in web application and data security
Experience in CI/CD
Experience working with Core Banking platforms, SaaS, CRM systems or any similar platform
You enjoy driving things over getting tasks assigned.
Attention to detail and reliability are what you take pride in, strong analytical skills and a problem-solving attitude
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, time management skills
