Senior QA Automation Engineer

The Mission

We are seeking a Quality Architect who thrives at the intersection of Marketing Automation (HubSpot), API Orchestration (n8n), and Enterprise Integrations. You are not just a tester; you are the guardian of our data integrity and the bridge between business logic and technical execution.

You will be responsible for the End-to-End (E2E) assurance of our complex integration ecosystem. You understand that a "bug" isn't just a broken button-it's a race condition in a workflow, a malformed JSON payload, or a missed requirement in a business process. Crucially, you are an AI-Native Professional. You leverage Artificial Intelligence daily to accelerate test creation, maintain living documentation, and act as a force multiplier for your analysis.

Core Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Integration Testing (50%)

Orchestration Assurance: Design and execute automated test strategies for n8n workflows. Implement "headless" testing using webhooks and API mocks to validate logic without polluting production data.

HubSpot Logic Validation: Automate the testing of complex HubSpot workflows, validating enrollment triggers, branching logic, and property mutations. Develop strategies to handle asynchronous race conditions and delays.

Advanced API Integrity: Manage deep API testing for external integrations. Validate authentication handling (OAuth/Tokens), schema compliance, and implement data integrity checks (hashing) to ensure zero data loss during transit.

2. AI-Augmented Daily Workflows (25%)

AI-Driven Productivity: Utilize LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) and AI agents to generate test cases, write boilerplate code, and synthesize realistic test data (e.g., synthetic customer records).

Self-Healing Automation: Implement and maintain mabl (or similar AI-native tools) for UI and API testing, leveraging auto-healing capabilities to minimize maintenance on our website and application tests.

Exploratory Testing: Conduct AI-guided manual exploratory testing on our websites. Use AI agents to generate "Test Charters" based on changelogs to focus your manual efforts on high-risk areas.

3. Hybrid Business Analysis & Documentation (15%)

Shift-Left Analysis: Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements. Use your QA mindset to interrogate business needs, identifying ambiguity and edge cases before development begins.

Living Documentation: Champion a "Docs-as-Code" culture. Ensure that documentation for workflows and integrations is kept up-to-date automatically using AI tools and rigorous naming conventions. You define the "Single Source of Truth".

4. Tooling & Infrastructure (10%)

Maintain the CI/CD pipeline for n8n workflows (exporting workflows as JSON, validating via CLI).

Manage test environments and data mocking strategies for API endpoints and HubSpot.

Integration Fluency: 3+ years testing complex integrations involving REST/GraphQL APIs. You know the difference between a 401 and a 403 and how to debug a webhook failure.

The AI Edge: Demonstrated ability to apply AI to daily QA tasks. You can show us how you prompt an LLM to generate a comprehensive test suite or analyze a log file.

HubSpot & n8n Expertise: Deep understanding of workflow mechanics, CRM properties, and low-code orchestration logic.

API Protocol Mastery: Familiarity with complex authentication flows, rate limiting, and strict data schemas.

Hybrid Agility: Comfortable switching between a "Technical Tester" hat (debugging API headers) and a "Business Analyst" hat (defining user stories).

Documentation Discipline: A fanatic for keeping documentation current and useful.
