Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

CSW Industrials (Nasdaq: CSWI) is a US publicly traded company in the Nasdaq stock market with approx. $2B market cap that serves a variety of HVAC end markets through 3 business units - Contractor Solutions, Engineered Building Solutions, and Specialized Reliability Solutions. We're having significant manufacturing base in Nhon Trach 1 Industrial Zone, Dong Nai named TRUAIRE Vietnam.
We're looking for an industrialization and CPEP leader (CSWI Partnership Excellence Program) responsible for working closely with suppliers. In this position, you will be part of our Industrialization Asian group whose primary responsibility is to successfully deploy CSWI's sourcing activities in Asia. You will work closely in a multi-disciplinary multicultural team composed of individuals from CSWI Procurement, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Material Planning departments, and the Supplier side. The position requires Leadership, Autonomy, Team, a results-oriented spirit, and a willingness to travel regularly domestically as well as regionally in China, Thai Lan, and Malaysia occasionally.
*** Responsibilities & Duties
• Research and understand desired Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing Process requirements on each of the sourcing products you will involve.
• Evaluate and recommend potential suppliers and their tiers in regard to their:
- Manufacturing process capability review.
- Engineering capability review.
- Quality Management Review.
- Supply chain review.
- Quality Systems compliance
• Lead Supplier Development activities on specific sourcing programs such as:
- Design reviews
- PFMEA
- Process Flow Chart
- Control Plan
- Process capability studies (Cpk, Gage R&R)
- Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
• Lead and be fully accountable for Supplier Quality Assurance activities such as:
- On-site production assessment
- Corrective action request and root cause analysis (6-Sigma - DMAIC, 7-tool)
- Periodic Supplier audit, scorecard, and continuous improvement plan.
