1. ROLE OBJECTIVE:

part of a professional team of engineers who provide IT services and ensure the highest
levels of availability, performance, and security. In place to assist and facilitate the
Company's requirements, qualified systems engineers will have a background in IT,
computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis, thereby ensuring
that the system will function efficiently and securely, as well as the satisfaction of our
customer.
2. OPERATIONAL:
- Be responsible for the main attendance of IT system for the VN team.
- Own and ensure stable operation of IT systems for the VN team, covering on-prem,
virtualized, cloud, and container platforms.
- Design, operate, and continuously improve infrastructure based on Linux, VMware,
KVM, OpenStack, and OpenShift.
- Plan and execute infrastructure changes, upgrades, and lifecycle management to
improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Lead system maintenance and upgrades across compute, storage, network, and
backup platforms (Veeam, Trilio).
- Own backup, restore, disaster recovery, and data migration strategies for virtualized
and cloud-native environments.
- Define and enforce security, access control, and standardization policies across
systems and platforms.
- Monitor system health and ensure high availability, capacity planning, and proactive
incident prevention.
- Provide Level 2 escalation support, root cause analysis, and vendor coordination.
- Lead documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer within the
engineering team.
- Collaborate with system engineers and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and
in line with contracts.
- Participate in On-Call Duty and support critical incidents when required.
- Documentation of implementation and changes.
Education Skills:
• BA in Computer Science, Information Technology
• Certifications in Microsoft Certified System Engineer
• Valid and up to date Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, RedHat or other certification
Technical Skills:
• 3-5 years of experience as
IT support and system engineer.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Server Platform
• OS, AD, Exchange, SQL, Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint Online, Azure Directory Desktops, Thin Clients operation and management
• Data Protection (Veeam Backup) and Security Virtualization (Ivanti patching).
• Experience in Servers, Network, Scripting/Automation and Communication.
• Experience in the following technologies is an advantage:
• Citrix XenApp Platform
• VMware Virtualization
• Linux networking administration
