Site Quality Manager - Contract Logistics

*** General Description:

• This position has been identified as an essential element to the growth strategy for the Contract Logistics and specific to the Healthcare (primary) and electronics vector in DB Schenker. Within this vector quality management and the delivery of the highest quality standards within healthcare operations has been identified by healthcare customers as a number one requirement in selecting a logistics partner.

• This role involves developing & embedding the quality & compliance framework (QMS) for Contract Logistics in both regular and healthcare operations in Vietnam.



*** Specific Accountabilities:

• Work closely with Site operations team and report progress to the Contract Logistics Vietnam Management team and Global Quality Lead for Contract Logistics / Healthcare at DB Schenker RHO on Quality Performance & Standards.

• Work alongside Site Operations team in adopting & sustaining standards from Good Distribution Practices at warehouses, including transfer of knowledge, conducting training and setting-up customer specific quality systems & documentation which are aligned to Global Quality SOP of DB Schenker.

• To ensure all Standard Operating Procedures / Working Instructions are periodically reviewed to keep current with standard practices.

• Ensure Corrective / Preventive Action Report (CAR) / 8D Report are properly investigated, responded, and closed by respective department in a timely manner.

• To maintain a proper records / register of all controlled documents and its distribution lists internally and externally.

• Lead on Site Quality Systems / Programs execution such as but not limited to Value Added Services (VAS) Activities such as secondary re-packing, re-labelling, stickering, etc. Involves training, implementation, validation, and continuous improvement of the mentioned activities.

• Support Business Development with research of new & existing country regulations and identifying license application requirements applicable in Vietnam.

• Provide Quality responses during RFQ / Tenders as part of BD team.

• Support Procurement Team in vendor / suppler assessment for services being rendered to warehouses where healthcare operations is taking place.

• Maintenance of the Global Quality System (Healthcare Manual) by means of revising chapters with latest industry best practices or new solutions based upon customer requirements.

• Conducting GDP/healthcare related classroom training & WebEx training and setting-up e-learning modules using LMS for all employees working in Healthcare Vector.

• Maintenance of the inspection readiness program and internal cross-audit program.

• Participate in the Global Quality Council and take the lead in Global Quality & Compliance projects, e.g., Serialization, Computer Validation, Cold Chain and Risk Management.
