Mô tả công việc
We are looking for a Social Performance Lead Vietnam. Who will establishes and maintains the company social performance management systems and ensures the realization of established objectives according to statutory and company requirements in order to maintain our social license to operate.
Implementation, observation and evaluation of programs related to corporate social responsibility for residential communities around the refinery and manages risks associated with the operations close to these communities. Prepares reports on social and community performance. Develops the skills and capacity of immediate and site team members to ensure best practice social performance and community engagement practices are being observed. Works to develop a proactive culture of community engagement amongst site managers and team leads and builds a community of strong performance.
The successful Duties Candidate role will include:
1. Works with the Environmental Manager, HSE Manager and Site Manager and other Members of our Management Board to ensure that social performance objectives are met, and the mine operates to the standards expected by employees, local communities and our shareholders.
2. Develops community / social management programs based on Blackstone's ESG priorities, statutory requirements and best practice international standards
3. Coordinates with other departments to ensure compliance with social and community expectations and permitting requirements
4. In line with Blackstone's Strategic ESG objectives, sets the annual objectives of the social and community management programs and adopts practical strategies to achieve them.
5. Supports the tracking of key ESG metrics and ensures data integrity of any data collected. Provide quarterly updates provided on data progress to ensure issues are raised and managed.
6. Work with foreign consultants and Vietnamese environmental organizations to support meetings with local, regional and central government authorities.
7. Ensures timely management of community concerns by holding periodic meetings with nominated community representatives to understand, record and address community concerns or questions.
8. Develop and socialize the Community Committee Guidelines that meet international ESG expectations, alongside community requirements for communication
9. Responds to community grievances in line with Blackstone Grievance or Whistle blower Policies and Procedures; ensures direct reports are appropriately trained in and comply with these policies and procedures.
10. Identifies aspects of the operation that have direct impact on the community and monitors the impacts in terms of social wellbeing, community sentiment and Blackstone's social licence to operate.
11. Undertakes and implements internal social and governance audits and provides data to internal and external parties.
12. Supports the Environment lead in the monthly, quarterly and annual social and community reports; supports the collection of media and interviews to the annual Blackstone Sustainability report and identifies good media content on site and in the community that can be shared.
13. Documents data analyses and periodic audits relating to social issues and mitigation measures.
14. Prepare the annual budget for the social and community department.
15. Directs the work of and manages team members
16. Trains and develops subordinates on the different phases of work in the operation; builds their capacity and leadership skills to international ESG standards
17. Regularly update national legal documents related to social performance. Give timely statutory consultancy to managers to ensure that the mine operation is following all environmental laws and regulations.
18. Set-up a system of legal documents or best practice international standards related to community relations and social performance for reference and professional development of the team.
19. Implementation, observation and evaluation of programs related to corporate social responsibility for residential communities around the mines and factories.
20. Translate related reports and documents from English to Vietnamese and vice versa.
21. Performs other administrative duties as may be assigned by management.
22. Complies and enforces established standard operating procedures and company rules and regulations.
