What will you do

Translate business needs into an executable technology strategy and roadmap.
Present proposals to engineering leadership and board of directors.
Design solutions that demonstrate high levels of technical craftsmanship.
Recognize overlaps in initiatives and proactively consolidate technical efforts.
Inform and lead disparate engineering groups toward a common architecture.
Coach and mentor engineers to help them upskill; help to build a culture of engineering excellence.
Hands-on and work closely with the platform engineering team to build engineering solutions.

What you should have

7-10 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in software architect role or equivalent role.
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or MBA from premier institutes preferred.
Excellent communication skills, fluent English, spoken and written - Communicates effectively in all situations and creates an environment of open and effective communication.
Hands-on technical experience with architecting and building large scale, highly available production-level consumer applications.
Expert in software system design, especially in distributed applications with microservices, containerized applications.
Experience with moving from legacy/monolith architecture to microservice architecture is a plus.
Good knowledge about system infrastructure, on-prem and/or cloud. Familiar with SRE practices.
Significant knowledge and experience with various development practices, programming languages, technologies.
Ability to work with multiple levels of the organization with key stakeholders.
