Train and develop the bartender team. Create and implement a monthly training plan for bartenders as well as beverage knowledge trainings for service associates.
Create and update the wine list in coordination with F&B Management.
Communicate with wine suppliers, staying updated on the market offers.
Negotiate in coordination with the F&B Management and
Purchasing the best possible price for wines.
Keep track of wine stock in all outlets. Ensure wines are in stock and stored properly.
Ensure the hotel wine stock is cleared following the FIFO principle for wines where vintage is not too relevant.
Create and update wine pairing for menus, special events and other guest requests.
Be present in the outlets during operation times. Suggest, upsell and serve wines based on the selected dishes and guest preferences.
Regularly train F&B Service Staff on wine knowledge and service. Monitor wine service is performed properly in all outlets
Good communication in English.
Proven work experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
