The position is accountable for sourcing and ensuring supply continuity of all packaging materials from collaborative working with business stakeholders to develop, improve and execute sourcing strategies and business cases that drive and deliver continuous cost improvement, optimize supply chain efficiencies while managing and strengthening supplier relationships





A. Key Responsibilities



- Develop category strategies: Work with Hub, CEPG in development and implementation of efficient sourcing activities. Review and provide input to supply risk assessment and mitigation

- Drive supply continuity and quality: Negotiate, Review and Execute signed contracts with suppliers

- Closely work with SEA procurement Hub, CEGP, follow-up with suppliers and SC team to drive POV

- Work with BU, QA to develop local suppliers for PM

- Review performance and access capability and degrees of motivation of suppliers to improve their performance and develop / maintain / grow relationships with key suppliers

- Conduct market trend studies and price/cost analysis. Monitor and track specific commodity market trends, communicate critical changes and propose coverage levels to leadership

- Propose materials pricing and control the approved budgeting costs. Ensure approriate pricing maintained in info records"

- Provide support to operational procurement team, vendor negotiations and corrective actions upon under-performing suppliers

- Propose, update, consult Director and get assistance on any difficulties or issues

- Participate in S&OP meeting, stage meeting, and SC meeting to understand new requirement vs supply ability to support sales

- Continually improve system and processes and compliance in working with stakeholders

- Self-learning to improve skills and develop capabilities

- Share knowledge and support on category management to direct report. Coach direct report and manage team performance

- Ensure CPR, Category reports submitted timely
