Sr- Field Agronomist

1. VALUE ADDED TO THE SUCCESS OF THE COMPANY (POSITION PURPOSE)
Trial execution:
• To arrange and execute with standard quality the allocated agronomical trial plans from Global, Regional & Country requirement. This includes the requirements of mile-stones, special conditions (virtual field tour, Digital clips, EDC ...).
• Support country commercial teams to launch new products in Vietnam by consulting & conducting local trials, research.
• To supervise and collaborate to the authorities to ensure Registration trials to deliver the expected results, ensure product registration timelines.
• To participate, assist and execute the assigned tasks with 3rd party in commercial & strategy ASEAP projects (e.g. Bayer Forward Farming, PPD UAS training ...).
• Build and sharing expertise across SEAP agronomist communities.
• Jointly explore and develop customized solutions for local business needs.
Internal, managerial roles:
• Scout Champion | Data quality: develop the qualified requirement for this role, aligned to APAC standard. The bottom line is to ensure the best data quality from VN and educate, coach, leverage the essential Scout skills for field agronomists.
• Trial operation / management: assist to ensure trial execution progress and on time. Support and seek for opportunities to improve task efficiency and process excellence.
• As the coordinator to cASM, local academic communities and external stakeholders to support the assigned project - program.
2. WORK RELATIONS
• Report to VN Field Solutions Lead.
• Interfaces:
 External: Cluster and Regional ASMs, local key stakeholders.
 Internal: Market Development, Marketing Managers, Commercial Team.
3. (MAJOR) KEY TASKS OF POSITION
Manage to deliver excellent performance both for self and for VNFS as a team. This role is in position of the trainer and the coach for tasks such as:
• Arrange relevant operations (find trial site, manage farmer contract, trial plot prepara-tions, samples...) to conduct the assigned trials.
• Collect and arrange to submit trial data in line with protocol requirement, in the appro-priate data format.
• Extract information and write the required trial report from SCOUT.
• Conduct and support local commercial activities, projects, programs.
• Provide routine, effective training, coaching to the teams.
