The Strategic Finance Business Partner (SFBP) acts as a strategic finance advisor to the CEO and key
business leaders across Commercial, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing functions. This role is responsible for translating financial data into business insights, supporting strategic decision-making, improving profitability, optimizing cost structures, and driving operational performance through strong business partnering and analytical capabilities. The SOFBP is expected to bridge Finance with Operations by providing forward-looking analysis, scenario planning, business performance diagnostics, and financial governance support across the end-to-end value chain.

1. Strategic Business Partnering
• Partner closely with the CEO and functional leaders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and working capital performance.
• Support long-term business planning, investment evaluation, and strategic initiatives.
• Participate in business reviews, leadership meetings, and operational discussions as a key finance representative.
2. Commercial Finance Support
• Analyze revenue, margins, pricing structures, customer profitability, and sales performance.
• Support pricing strategy and commercial negotiations through financial modeling and profitability analysis.
• Evaluate product mix, cost-to-serve, and market profitability.
• Partner with Commercial teams to monitor: Gross Margin, Contribution Margin, Sales forecast accuracy, Customer profitability, Freight and logistics impacts,...
• Support business cases for new products, customers, markets, and strategic projects.
3. Supply Chain Finance Support
• Partner with Supply Chain teams to optimize: Inventory levels, Working capital, Logistics costs, Procurement spending, Warehousing efficiency,..
• Analyze inventory aging, DOH (Days on Hand), slow-moving inventory, and supply chain cost drivers.
• Support S&OP process with financial analysis and scenario simulations.
• Monitor procurement price variance and supply chain productivity indicators.
• Provide financial evaluation for sourcing strategies and inventory optimization initiatives.
4. Manufacturing Finance Support
• Work closely with Manufacturing leadership to improve operational and cost performance.
• Analyze: Manufacturing cost structure, Labor productivity, Conversion cost, Capacity utilization, Overtime efficiency,...
• Support cost control initiatives and operational excellence programs.
• Monitor actual vs standard cost performance and investigate major variances.
• Support CAPEX evaluation and manufacturing investment decisions.
• Develop operational dashboards and KPIs for plant performance monitoring.
5. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for assigned functions.
• Prepare monthly business performance reviews and management reports.
• Develop financial models, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
• Translate operational drivers into financial impact assessments.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities proactively.
6. Performance Management & Decision Support
• Develop and monitor business KPIs aligned with company strategy.
• Support performance review processes with data-driven insights.
• Provide recommendations to improve: Productivity, Cost efficiency, Cash flow, Operational profitability.
• Challenge assumptions constructively and support fact-based decision-making culture.
• Support cross-functional alignment between Commercial, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance. Translate operational drivers into financial business implications proactively.
7. Governance & Financial Control
• Ensure financial discipline and compliance with internal policies.
• Support investment governance and business case approvals.
• Strengthen financial transparency and reporting quality.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Controlling teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
