Mô tả công việc
• Develops, adopts, enforces, oversees, and/or implements policies and procedures on a range of student affairs issues such as class absences, refund appeals, and withdrawals; coordinates and enforces students policies and procedures, and ensures compatibility with locally operating policies university-wide.
• Determines and interprets student services needs on an individual basis, and initiates referrals to appropriate student and/or academic services; advises students on policy issues, acts as student advocate, and resolves problems as necessary.
• Designs, develops, coordinates, and presents a wide range of workshops, conferences, training sessions, and retreats for students, parents, and staff; manages, coordinates, and facilitates all facets of on-campus student orientation activities associated with the family connection program.
• Designs and develops curriculum and implements educational programs for students on Hositality and soft skills topics
• Oversees marketing, administration, and logistics for a range of special events, to include selection, coordination, and scheduling of entertainers, keynote speakers, and facilitators, organization of facilities and food services, and the design and production of marketing materials and publications.
• Collects and analyzes statistical data, and develops reports, reporting systems, instruments, mechanisms, and standards designed to evaluate effectiveness of programs and services.
• Prepares, edits, and revises Student policies to suit a variety of College contexts and formats.
• Supervises personnel which typically includes recommendations for hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
• Assist/advising IIHC students and graduates in finding work, and accommodation.
• Plan/Organise a program of activities 6 months ahead; for IIHC student such as
sporting events, singing contest and student tours, weekly physical student activities, Academic activities and practice lessons at specific Department of the Hotel.
• Develop an internal communication strategy to inform student about IIHC and changes we are making to improve the college and our teaching.
• Carry out surveys on student and customer services monthly and report to the Principals.
• Monitor the supply of IIHC leaflets and brochures, T-shirts in the college and the production and printing of new material when required.
• Supervise the content of the IIHC student activities on website which needs to be updated daily.
• Write PR articles after each IIHC student event and update the Hot News area of the website with information and photographs.
• Translate areas of the IIHC website into Vietnamese as required. (apply to Vietnamese staff)
• Be able to present as a MC in IIHC events.
• Set up and participate in a representative council of IIHC students.
• Participate in marketing activities such as information days, exhibitions, and school consulting programs.
• Instruct students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations.
• Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students
• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.
• Guide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic problems, or special academic interests.
• Keep all information on IIHC private and not discuss confidential information with any other parties.
• Other admin duties as directed by the Principals.
