Superintendent - Financial Reporting

- Monitor month-end closing process and review monthly standalone GLs of entities in Vietnam under MHT group.
- Monitor preparation of quarterly/haft-year/annually VAS consolidated financial statements at MHT group level and subgroup levels (MRTN and NPMC), as well as VAS standalone financial statements of all entities under MHT group.
- Review monthly/quarterly/annual consolidated packages which was converted into VAS from Germany subgroup team by scanning and analyzing abnormal items on BS, PL and significant accounts movements.
- Play a key role when MHT self-prepare quarterly/half-year/annually IFRS consolidated financial statements.
- Work closely with FP&A team to ensure the alignment between monthly actual result vs forecast.
- Work closely with MSN (ultimate group) Finance team in sending MHT group consolidation package monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/annual and follow up for all reviewed queries.
- Work closely with MSN (ultimate group) Finance team in evaluating impact of changes in accounting policies, accounting estimate for whole group, building up model to foresee finance scenarios that may incur in near future.
- Cooperate with Strategy team for DD purpose, manage data and information provide for supporting special projects invested by MHT when required, and other ad-hoc tasks.
- Identify and evaluate the impact of accounting issues that may lead to increase in tax expense and notify Tax team to prepare options to minimize tax expense.
- Participate and play key role of providing accounting data for all tax inspections/audits as well as other inspections/audits of other central and provincial departments.
- Monitor monthly/quarterly/annually compliance reports on statistics, bond, investment implementation.
- Review fixed asset (FA) register updating, monthly depreciation, FA count and adjust for variances (if any) for management purpose in accounting books.
- Monitor land lease (new contracts/decisions for new areas, contract expire), land lease fee accrual, lead the reconciliation/working with C&R if there is any different.
- Play a key role in working with external auditors, bankers, lawyers on financial audit and other assigned works, ensure meet tight deadlines of submission financial statements and other reports as required.
- Liaise with various internal departments to provide reports or information as required, as well as obtain information from departments for accounting and audit purpose.
- Support, coach and lead Supervisor/Senior Accountants as required.
- Assist with the design and implementation of accounting and finance processes and internal controls.
- Involve in developing and implementing the consolidated software for MHT (include HCS).
- Other works as assigned by CA, CFO or MSN Group Finance.
