Supplier Quality Engineer - Electronics/pcba Assembly - HCMC

Looking for a talented Supplier Quality Engineer who is capable to take a leading role for supplier quality system and production process assessment, monitoring the supplier quality performance and driving supplier development and continuous improvement. This role is based out of Supply chain SEA region under Global Supplier Development organization.
Description
The ideal Supplier Quality Engineer, reported directly to the Regional Head of Engineering, will be responsible for the following activities:
* Champion all Product and Process Quality activities.
* Co-ordinate transition activity including Contract / Control Plan reviews & UPPAP sign offs wherever applicable.
* Review and Approve LAI of sample parts & comparison with drawing and close the Loop for any discrepancy on time.
* Review and Approve FAI and ensuring parts meet all the customer requirements & yield rate as per the Control Tower Metrics scheduled for the Specific month and Year on time.
* Drive Supplier Quality improvement methodologies as per SEA Macro Plan and IT identified.
* Co-ordinate & support suppliers in understanding & implementation of the tools & techniques of Quality Clinics, Process Certification, Relentless Root Cause Analysis & Mistake-Proofing.
* Interface with project group & technical group for On-Time deliveries without affecting product quality.
* Ensure compliance to quality systems and identify opportunities to improve product quality, efficiency of quality techniques and Customer satisfaction.
* Manage and champion supplier training, quality notification and participate in QN analysis, closure action and implementation of mistake proofing.
* On-site reviews with the Suppliers as well as supporting the business and regional control tower metrics from time to time.
* Manage and report out Quality and Engineering Driven database and Initiatives.
Profile
The preferred candidate has Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electronics or related discipline, combined with at least 7 years experience in aviation OEM industry with proven Electronics/PCBA manufacturing knowledge, working with manufacturing suppliers, with good understanding of the ISO, Quality Management System.
Candidates from Aviation (Aerospace) OEM/Medical devices OEM products, PCBA assembly are highly preferred.
Able to work independently with high responsibility and result driven, fast learner, supplier quality management, problem solving.
Good in English and Vietnamese ARE REQUIRED.
